WD, basically you're right. There were a lot more discussions about technical stuff than
nowadays. But you only mentioned Americans riders on the forum, don't forget us Europeans.
At least Bob and I participate in the forum quite frequently.
I love my Savage, and I would not trade it in for any other bike. Not even a HD. I like the looks
of a HD, but for me the bike's too heavy, too expensive and too unreliable.
About the latter I'm not too sure because I've never owned and driven a HD. But I always hear
from others who have one that they carry a complete toolkit with them to be on the safe side.
Anyway, no matter what you drive, enjoy your ride. I'd love to meet you all one day, unfortunately
Tennessee is a looooong way from here. My biggest dream is a gettogether of all the Savage riders in this
forum, but well......
